Welcome to Black Horse Hill Infant School

Welcome to Black Horse Hill Infant School

A very warm welcome to Black Horse Hill Infant School! We are delighted to share our vibrant and nurturing school community with you. Through our website, we hope you gain an insight into our vision, values, and commitment to ensuring every child thrives.

At Black Horse Hill Infant School, we believe that learning is for life. Our school motto, "Learning for Life," reflects our dedication to helping children develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need—both now and for the future. Beyond academic success, we nurture essential life skills such as resilience, teamwork, and perseverance, ensuring that our pupils grow into independent, curious, and compassionate individuals.

Our school is a place filled with learning, laughter, and friendship. Pupils arrive each day eager to learn because they feel safe, valued, and supported by our dedicated team. High expectations are at the heart of our school, and we encourage every child to be the best they can be in all aspects of school life.

We offer a broad, ambitious, and well-structured curriculum that ensures children make excellent progress. Learning is enriched with exciting experiences, including school trips, engaging activities, and opportunities to develop leadership skills—such as through our School Parliament. Our focus on reading, creativity, and exploration helps to foster a lifelong love of learning.

Our success is built on strong partnerships with parents, carers, and governors. We value the vital role these relationships play in ensuring the best outcomes for our children.

While our website provides a glimpse into life at Black Horse Hill Infant School, nothing compares to seeing our school in action. We warmly invite you to visit us and meet the wonderful children who make our school such a special place.
