    Vision, Aims & Values

Welcome to Black Horse Hill Infant School

We wish you a very warm welcome as you visit our Black Horse Hill Infant School website and we hope that by using the site you will get a picture of the vision, aims and the values we uphold.

Black Horse Hill Infant School is a great place to be a learner!

“Learning for Life” is our school motto and we firmly believe that our role is to enable all children to reach their potential and develop the key knowledge, vocabulary and skills they require for now and in the future. Our school is far more than a place to work and learn. It is a place where our young children build relationships with other people, find out how to work collaboratively, learn to persevere when faced with challenges and learn to make a positive contribution to our school community.

Our school is a special place filled with learning, laughter and friendship. Children at Black Horse Hill Infant School are happy and eager to come to school because they feel safe, valued and cared for. The children know they will be expected to try their best, never give up and “be the best that they can be”.

Our committed and professional team use their expertise and experience to provide a broad, balanced and ambitious curriculum. All subjects are carefully planned, structured and sequenced to ensure progression across units of work and across year groups or key stages

The positive support of our parents and governors is very important to us at Black Horse Hill Infant School and we recognise the significant benefits to our pupils of these partnerships.

This website will give you a flavour of life at Black Horse Hill Infant School but really to get to know the school, I would recommend that you come and visit us during the school day. You will then get to meet our wonderful little people.

    Mrs Julie Morris
