The children used a magnifying glass to look carefully at the flower.
The children took it in turns to use the magnifying glass and talk about what they could see.
Using special drawing pencils the children drew the different parts of the plant. They drew the stem, leaves, petals and cup.
The next job was to paint the daffodil. The children were shown how to use "brush strokes" to apply the paint.
It took a lot of concentration!
The children added a little bit of white to make a paler shade of yellow. Finally the children signed their masterpieces just like real artists.
